Since 2016 VISION Outreach has introduced urban youth to agriculture in an engaging manner that positively impacted the partner schools' communities.
VISION Urban Ag Is The Nature-Based Solution For a Happy, Healthy, & Sustainable School Community.
Curriculum created to cater to urban youth by a certified urban farmer, VISION Urban Ag brings tangible results to school communities that results in youth gaining a sense of agency and empowerment to change the landscape of their school community as well as improve their mental and physical health. Participants learn life skills that assist in the fight against food insecurity, economic disadvantages, childhood obesity, and poor eating habits.
